Well.. my first baby is now five! (tears.. sniff) November 12, 2006 I experienced being a mommy for the first time. And I sure have enjoyed the ride for the past five years. Now Makenna is enjoying kindergarten and her new school friends. And to prove that she really is five she now has a wiggley tooth! What a big girl! Makenna was so sick with the achey and fevery flu the week leading up to her birthday we almost thought we were going to have to postpone the whole thing, but we prayed and she had lots of energy on her birthday! Thank You Jesus! She even had an appetite to eat a little bit of her huge pancake birthday cake the morning of her birthday! A week after her birthday we had a party with some friends from school where she finally got to smash Freddy, her long-neck dino pinata that she worked so hard to make!
What I love about my Makenna Rae:
-She loves to make her Daddy feel so special by telling him he's her favourite
-She loves both of her sisters so much!
-She is a good listener and is obedient (even though she has to be told to eat her supper!)
-She loves listening to stories about Jesus
-She listens to correction with her heart and really longs to do what's right
-She has been a very easy child and is a precious gift from God!
-She is so honest and pure!
-She has a compassionate heart and sheds tears for loved ones that aren't living for Jesus
-She can't wait to ride on a long-neck dinosaur in heaven!
