Our Family of Five

Life is getting busy again. Troy and I have started rafting again and have been training on this new river called the Kicking Horse. It sure is fun.. and cold. It's nice to work together again. My arm muscles sure are weak after not rafting for so long.. I'm pretty sore! The company we are working for is called Wet N Wild if you ever want to look them up on the internet.

Makenna is having fun being babysat by a girl who is living with us named Laine. So far it's been really short days for us at the rafting place so we have had lots of time to spend with Makenna in the afternoons and evenings and sometimes in the morning too. We'll see how the rest of the summer goes.

Makenna is growing so fast! It is crazy that she's only 18 months and looks like she's turning into a little kid. She speaks in three word sentences now too.. "Where did Daddy go?" "Two baby bottles!" It is so funny hearing her say watermelon.. it comes out more like "mala-mala-mala?" She loves playing with her babies.. although my childhood doll now has even more pen marks all over it. Makenna decided to draw on her baby and give her some owies. She loves kissing owies better.
