What a different phase of life! Now that school started life is now more scheduled, but somehow more busy.. More busy because I walk the two blocks to the school to go pick Makenna up so she can eat lunch at home, then walk her back at the end of the lunch hour.
The good thing about school schedules is that our Saturdays are more set aside for family things now! Last weekend Makenna told us that she wanted to go have a campfire and have s'mores. So we packed up the trailer and drove down the road about 30min and found a nice quiet campsite beside a creek! We stayed overnight and were back home the next day!
A couple weekends ago we found this treasure on one fine Saturday:
Imagine swimming in a warm waterfall!
A secret treasure! from Sherri Stelmach on Vimeo.
Daddy and his girls playing around in the pools!
Mommy and my girlies with the waterfall behind us! I've got to say that those puddle jumper life-jackets are very well used with our girls. They have use them in rivers, lakes, hot-tubs, pools, waterslides and hotsprings!
Maeve is now 7 months old and it's time that I caught up on her pictures... She sure is a cutie patootie! And almost 20lbs already!
These pools were a blast, but slippery! Makenna is being very careful not to slip by moving everywhere on her bum!
And here's the shot from up above the waterfall! The water was so nice and clear! It felt almost tropical!
I threw another random summer shot from our backyard in here. Our grass took so good (we layed sod) it almost has become a jungle it grows so fast. The girls had their own little tubs to soak in on the hot days!
Another shot of Maeve! She's airborn! I wonder if she has Troy's cheeks?
Nice squishy cheeks to kiss!
Maeve does like kid shows on tv just like her older sisters... as you can see them all zoned out here.. uh oh!
She's come a long way from 7 months ago! Look at how little she was!
